Business Property Relief is changing in 2026 – What business owners need to know
From 6 April 2026, the rules for Business Property Relief (BPR) will change. For many business owners this could alter
I am an Associate in the Corporate Commercial team at Tees, having qualified as a solicitor in 2019 I moved to the firm in 2021. I often act for owner-managers, family run companies, small medium enterprises, as well as large corporates.
I specialise in the following areas of Corporate law
In addition to my corporate offering, and as a means to compliment the advice I can give to clients I have expertise in the additional following areas:
Corporate Borrowing & Finance: I advise on the facility and loan documentation where an individual or company is seeking funding. I also advise and draft legal documentation required by a bank or lender providing the finance.
Commercial law: I advise on an array of commercial contracts including goods and services agreements, distribution agreements, data protection policies and website terms and conditions.
Charity law: I advise on certain company aspects of charity law advising charities and not for profits on charity structures and status, mergers, transfer of assets and charity acquisitions.
My goal is to build strong relationships and to work alongside you to understand what truly matters, providing a commercial and straight forward perspective. I know that many business owners put their heart and soul as well as heads into their business ventures and I support these clients by navigating legal complexities with practical hands-on contribution that help achieve their aspirations.

Natasha Bhandari who was brought in at late notice and dealt with everything legal on guarantees and debentures etc explaining everything succinctly and in our layman's language. Another excellent member of the team at Tees who I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

I am a member of the firm’s Environmental Social Governance (ESG) Committee. ESG is an important framework for Tees, ensuring we operate our business responsibly and sustainably.
I completed the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in London, Bloomsbury.
Outside of work, I am always kept busy—whether renovating, keeping fit, or baking, if not rekindling my adventurous side by exploring new places when I can.
