Charlie Neal

Solicitor

Charlie Neal, corporate and commercial solicitor at Tees Law

Biography

I qualified as a solicitor in September 2024 and work within Tees’ Corporate & Commercial team, based in the Brentwood office.

Delivering what you really need

I have over two years of experience advising clients on company law, having spent time as both a paralegal and a trainee solicitor in the Corporate & Commercial teams. My expertise covers a range of sectors, including transport and logistics, accountancy, retail and healthcare.

My experience focuses on:

  • Mergers and acquisitions;
  • Company constitutional documents;
  • Asset purchases and disposals;
  • Share issues, transfers and buybacks;
  • Partnerships and LLPs;
  • Loan and security documentation; and
  • Commercial agreements.

Separately, having spent one of my training seats in Tees’ Employment team, I understand the employment considerations arising from corporate transactions. This includes, particularly, the impact of the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 (TUPE) on business transfers.

The team at Tees is exceptional when it comes to corporate and commercial. Their tenacity and understanding of our business were excellent, as well as their understanding of a commercial deal that was not always straightforward.
