Shared ownership: How to get on the housing ladder
Shared ownership can be a way of getting onto the housing ladder for many people. But, there are a few
I am an Associate in the Residential Property Team based in the Bishop’s Stortford office. I specialise in all areas of residential conveyancing, including sales and purchases of both leasehold and freehold properties, transfers of equity, and re-mortgages. I also have special expertise in new build purchases, shared ownership properties, equity loan schemes and a keen interest in complex unregistered transactions.
I take time to listen to what my client really needs in order to advise as to how best to proceed and to ensure a positive outcome for all parties. I work collaboratively not only drawing on the wealth of knowledge within the Residential Property team but also the expertise across all of our legal and wealth teams in order to provide clients with the best advice possible to meet their circumstances.
I understand that buying or selling a property can be a stressful experience and I strive to make this process as stress-free as possible for all involved. After all these years, the best part of the job is still being able to tell a client they are able to collect the keys to their new home!

Marie Rodgers and her team made our house move smooth, efficient, and professional, keeping us informed throughout. I highly recommend their services.
