Biography
I am one of the team of accountants and tax advisers in our Bishop’s Stortford office, providing advice and support to a wide range of individuals, executors and trustees in connection with their tax affairs and accounting needs. I can assist you with various aspects of personal, trust, and estate tax compliance including UK tax returns and capital gains tax computations. I can provide advice on various tax planning matters.
Delivering what you need
Tax can be very complicated and often the requirements to comply with tax reporting obligations can seem daunting or overwhelming. I aim to use my knowledge and experience to help navigate these complexities and make the process as efficient and straightforward as possible. It is important to me that I take the time to listen to clients to understand their unique circumstances and consider how I can help with their tax and accounting issues. Working as part of a collaborative team means there is always someone with the necessary skills and expertise to help.
Expertise

I've never found an area where Tees have been unable to help. There is considerable strength across the organisation. Individuals have good contacts outside of their practice area. I have always found Tees accessible and helpful.

Further information
I qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) in 2000, having previously qualified as an Accounting Technician (AAT). I started my career working in the tax department of an accountancy practice before joining Tees as a Trust and Tax Accountant after I qualified. I then spent eleven years working within the tax team here before taking an extended career break to be with my family and pursue other opportunities. I returned to the tax team in 2023 and am enjoying working for Tees again.
