Daniel Fairs

I joined Tees Law as a solicitor in October 2017, working within the commercial property and rural team. I became head of the Chelmsford team in October 2021 and Partner of the Firm in April 2023.

I specialise in a wide range of commercial development and rural property transactions, such as:

• Acting for landowners and developers on strategic land projects to include work such as promotion agreements, option agreements, overage deeds, pre-emption agreements and conditional contracts;
• Acting for sellers and buyers on Farm sales and acquisitions;
• Acting on the sales and acquisitions of commercial property and land in England and Wales;
• Acting for landlords and tenants in relation to new leases, existing leases, lease renewals, lease extensions and a wide range of licenses and Farm Business Tenancies;
• Acting for lenders, borrowers and guarantors in financing and refinancing arrangements where property is involved; and
• Working with the corporate team to deal with property matters for share purchases and asset purchases.
