Rekha Madl

I previously had a successful career in the IT industry, fulfilling a diverse set of roles, including technical design, client management and team management. I have always been interested in law and have taken the decision to retrain as a solicitor to achieve that career aspiration.

I graduated from the University of Manchester and passed the Solicitors Qualifying Exam 1 (SQE1) in September 2024. My aim is to sit the final examination in the near future whilst gaining further legal experience at Tees on my path to qualification.

I am keen to stay active and enjoy running and playing Badminton. I also love to travel and experience new cultures and cuisines.

I approach everything with a positive attitude and believe that “Happiness is a warm puppy” – happiness can be found in simple moments, like a good conversation, reading a book, or the peace of nature.
