I have joined Tees as an Associate Solicitor since March 2025 specialising in construction and property matters.

I started off my career as a structural engineer, and later changed to the legal field and qualified as a barrister in Hong Kong in 2014.  In my 9 years of practice as a barrister, I had advised and represented clients in numerous construction and land/property disputes.

I qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2023 and joined the construction team of a renowned national firm based in its Cambridge office where I advised and assisted clients on both contentious and non-contentious construction matters.

I understand that construction and land/property disputes are often complex and challenging to manage.  It can cause additional stress if the dispute involves one’s own home.

My technical background helps me discern the crucial issues in complicated situations and approach the disputes with a pragmatic perspective.

With my experience as a mediator and knowledge gained from my Master study in Arbitration and Dispute Resolution, I can advise clients on the appropriate alternative resolution method aiming for a quick and satisfactory outcome in a cost-effective way.
