Business Property Relief is changing in 2026 – What business owners need to know

I am a Trainee solicitor in the Estate Planning team, based in Cambridge. I started at Tees in March 2025 and completed my first training seat within the Real Estate team.
I enjoyed the challenge and variety that arose with Commercial Property transactions. I am sincere in my approach and endeavour to understand the individual outcome and how this interlinks with clients’ broader personal and business goals. I look forward to gaining insights into wills, trusts, tax and probate.
I am always looking to improve my work and keep up to date with developments in legal technologies, which can streamline the complexity of commercial transactions.
Before joining Tees, I worked as a Paralegal in Commercial Property and Construction Litigation at a Cambridge law firm. In 2015, I graduated with a Business and Retail Management Degree from The University of Surrey, Guildford. After a few years of Company Governance and Consultancy roles I found a passion in law and in 2024 graduated with a master’s in law (LLM) with Distinction from the University of Law.
I spent a number of years during my degree acting as a Mental Health advisor and in 2021 sat on the Surrey Junior Lawyers Division as a Wellbeing Officer, helping aspiring Lawyers through the difficulties navigating the pandemic. I find that whatever the issue, empathy and compassion always come first.
I have a variety of hobbies and interests outside of work. I am currently learning Full Stack web development to build a better understanding of the programming we use every day. I practice martial arts at an Aikido club in Cambridge. I also have an interest in circus skills and have performed fire spinning at local venues and festivals. I am sure to pick up more as I love to learn new things.
