Paralegal

Nicole Reid, private client paralegal at Tees Law

Biography

I am a paralegal within the Private Client department, I work closely with the solicitors in my team to provide support and assistance in relation to a range of areas such as the preparation of Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection applications, and the Administration of Estates.

Delivering what you really need

As a team, we pride ourselves on being able to consistently deliver an efficient and professional service to our clients. I feel very fortunate to be learning the practical application of Private Client law from the colleagues I work with and using my skills and experience to develop my own technique to assist our clients with their needs. From navigating clients through their options when preparing Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney, to helping grieving families through the process of Estate Administration.

Expertise

I've never found an area where Tees have been unable to help. There is considerable strength across the organisation. Individuals have good contacts outside of their practice area. I have always found Tees accessible and helpful.

Further information

I joined Tees in 2013 as a Business Support Apprentice, consecutively obtaining a level 2 and level 3 NVQ in Business Administration. I continued to assist the Private Client team across three of our offices for six years as Team Assistant, before finalising my level 3 qualification with the Chartered Institute for Legal Executives and becoming a Paralegal within the team at Chelmsford in 2019.
