Tees recently advised the sellers of Elora Pharmacy on the sale of their business to Sheevnali Limited.
Elora Pharmacy is an independently run, family-owned pharmacy located next to a GP surgery in Benfleet, Essex. The pharmacy was purchased by Bharat and Urvashi Patel more than 40 years ago and offers a wide range of NHS and non-NHS services, including advice on healthcare issues.
The sale ensures the pharmacy can continue delivering those services to the community, under the management of an experienced provider who also runs Cross Chemists and Benfleet Pharmacy in Essex.
The business teams at Tees advised on the corporate property and employment elements of the transaction. Head of Corporate and Commercial department and Partner of the firm Lucy Folley was assisted by solicitors Nana Maisuradze, Nana Poku and Charlie Neal. Senior Associate John Southan assisted Commercial Property Partner Jane Winfield in advising on the sale of the pharmacy’s commercial property. Associate Ola McGhee advised in relation to the employment matters of the sale.
