Biography

I qualified as a solicitor in October 2023 and joined Tees in July 2024.

Although recently qualified, I have extensive experience in dealing with education related matters. Before joining Tees, I worked at Coram Children’s Legal Centre (as a paralegal and then solicitor) and worked as part of their education team since July 2018.

I have experience and have advised in respect of:

  • Special Educational Needs, including needs assessments, Education Health and Care Plans, statutory provision and appeals to the First Tier Tribunal.
  • Disability Discrimination in the First Tier Tribunal
  • Judicial Review claims in relation to Education Health and Care Plans.

Further information

Having completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme in The Netherlands, I attained my LLB Law Degree from the University of Essex followed by an LLM in International Human Rights Law in 2017. I speak three languages, English, Dutch and Twi.
