Biography
I am the Head of Trusts and Tax at Tees, based in our Bishops Stortford office. I lead a dedicated team of accountants and tax advisors that specialise in advising individuals, trustees and executors across planning, accounting and UK tax compliance.
I regularly provide advice and assist with returns for Income Tax, Capital gains tax, Inheritance tax, as well as a variety of tax planning opportunities. I often work closely with colleagues in our private client, property, family and wealth teams, delivering the practical tax advice to inform decisions.
I am a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation and the Association of Taxation Technicians, with over a decade of post-qualification experience.
Delivering what you need
Tax compliance is an unavoidable part of life. It can often be time consuming and complex, but it doesn’t need to be stressful. I will guide you through the tax requirements you face, individually or in your capacity as a trustee or executor, providing clear advice and assistance so you may confidently meet your obligations.
Careful tax and estate planning often entails additional compliance. For individuals, my team and I can advise on the options available to you and assist in any reporting requirements. Where trusts are right for you, working with colleagues across Tees, we can support you through the entire lifecycle of trust planning and administration.
Tees’ long history and experience with trusts make our expertise invaluable to new trustees. We have strong working relationships with local estate agents, most major stockbrokers and financial advisors, including our Tees Wealth team. This experience means we can act seamlessly across all aspects of the administration of a trust, from the practicalities of settling tax bills to strategic advice on the most tax efficient ways to run the trust, helping you achieve your goals.
