Biography
I am one of the accountants in our Bishop’s Stortford office helping individuals, trustees and executors with their accounting and UK tax compliance duties. I can provide advice on Income Tax, Capital gains tax, Inheritance tax and a variety of tax planning issues.
At Tees Law we have been actively managing trusts for a century. We currently provide tax and accounting services to over 450 trusts in addition to our personal tax clients and executors.
Delivering what you need
I understand that tax compliance, though a necessary part of life, can often be time consuming and complicated. The aim of our tax team is to take the worry out of tax compliance by offering a bespoke service to suit your circumstances as an individual or in your capacity as a trustee or executor. This can range from home visits to communication via email only, a capital gains tax computation to a full set of accounts and tax return.
We provide a range of taxation services for individuals including UK tax returns, capital gains tax computations and tax planning. We understand that when you sit down to review your tax affairs if you have a question it is important for you to be able to speak to someone while the numbers are fresh in your mind. This is where our work as a close team provides additional benefits as although you will deal with the same accountant on a day-to-day basis if for any reason they are unavailable another member of the tax team will be able to help.
Our long history and experience with the large volume of trusts we manage makes our expertise invaluable to new trustees. We have strong working relationships with local estate agents and most major third party stockbrokers including our own Tees Financial. These links enable us to actively manage the accounting and tax planning aspects of your trust, settle tax bills on your behalf and advise on the most tax efficient ways to achieve the trust’s goals.
Expertise

The team at Tees is exceptional when it comes to corporate and commercial. Their tenacity and understanding of our business were excellent, as well as their understanding of a commercial deal that was not always straightforward.
