Caroline Andrews

Senior Associate

Family Law

Biography

To begin with, I qualified as a solicitor in 2007 and spent 12 years working within a family law department at an established Leigh-on-Sea firm.  I joined the firm here in 2017 and am now a senior family associate based in the Brentwood office.

I advise on matters ranging from prenuptial agreements to domestic abuse orders with the aim to prevent problems arising for the client at a later stage. Consequently, I recognise that often advance planning is key in minimising family breakdown issues.

Delivering what you need

In addition, I have developed an in-depth understanding of fertility law ranging from surrogacy to legal parenthood issues. Further, I have been able to utilise my knowledge of fertility matters through my volunteering role at a women’s health charity, thus my contribution has been recognised in national awards.

Expertise

Caroline Andrews works extremely closely with clients to provide realistic advice. Caroline is thorough and has an in-depth understanding of the approach a court is likely to take to a case. Caroline is extremely approachable and has an excellent working relationship with clients.

Further information

I was selected to the Resolution National Standards Panel for 2025, where I will be assisting Resolution in ensuring members adhere to the family law guidelines for membership.  As well as being a member of Resolution, I am accredited by the Law Society on their Family Law Advanced Panel as a specialist in matrimonial and children’s law matters. I recognise that family breakdowns need to consider the complex needs of individual family members. Thus, I strive to allow my clients to make informed decisions about legal matters that they can put into practical outcomes for their future lives.
