Delivering what you really need

I am part of Tees’ specialist Contentious Trust & Probate team and regularly meet with clients across all our office locations.

Probate disputes, by their very nature, arise at a stressful and vulnerable time, and I appreciate how overwhelming this can be for my clients. I offer clear and pragmatic advice and help my clients formulate a strategy to resolve matters.

Our specialist team can advise on the following:

  • Challenging Wills;
  • Inheritance (Provision for Family & Dependants) Act 1975 cases;
  • Disputes arising out of lifetime transactions – for example, claims regarding undue influence, capacity, and joint ownership;
  • Claims against personal representatives – accounts and enquiries, breach of trust and fiduciary duty, removal and substitution;
  • Construction, rectification and variation of trusts;
  • Disputes between cohabitees of property;
  • Applications under the Trustees of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996;
  • Disputes between beneficiaries and executors;
  • Claims relating to Proprietary Estoppel and Constructive Trusts; and
