Stonebond Chelmsford has completed the acquisition of a prime development site in Shenfield, Essex, marking the second joint venture scheme with Home Group. Tees advised on the property aspects of the transaction, with specialist support from Executive Partner Aaron Cane.

Delivering a site with long-term community value

The site sits off Alexander Lane, a short walk from Shenfield High Street and the Elizabeth Line railway station. Stonebond’s plans will deliver 38 mixed-tenure homes, including affordable rent, shared ownership and open market homes for sale.

As part of the project, more than £1 million will be contributed to local services such as healthcare, education, libraries and sports facilities. This investment ensures the development benefits both new residents and the wider Shenfield community.
