I qualified as a Solicitor in 1990 at Wragge & Co in Birmingham, joining Tees in 1997. I became a Partner in the commercial property team in 2003.
With my many years of experience, I understand how to achieve my clients’ goals effectively.
I am experienced in all aspects of commercial property work, including acquisitions and disposals, leases, asset management, investment, and property finance. My niche area is landlord and tenant.
My specialisms include acting on behalf of landlords and tenants, whether they be investment landlords, corporate tenants, private landlords or SME tenants. I also have extensive experience acting for buyers and sellers of commercial property, whether freehold, leasehold, sole traders or investment owners.
I relish dealing with a wide range of commercial property matters, as they require a methodical and managed approach. To illustrate, The Legal 500 recommends me as being ‘efficient’ and whose ‘first-rate service regarding leases’ is conducted with ‘enthusiasm’ and a ‘professional approach’.

Jane Winfield's understanding of our business, our intentions, and the goals of each deal is truly commendable. Her ability to provide quick turnaround times on queries, combined with the high quality of their work, ensures that we receive exceptional support every step of the way.
