Medway NHS Foundation Trust ENT delays: NHS Trust apology highlights risk of delayed diagnosis
On 1 July 2025, I received a call from Darent Valley Hospital asking if I still needed an ENT referral.
I am an experienced medical negligence solicitor with 15 years’ experience in this area of law. During this time I have helped many clients obtain the answers to complex medical issues to enable them to move forward with their lives following bad experiences whilst obtaining medical treatment. I have also helped many clients obtain just compensation for their injuries. Although financial compensation does not do away with the injuries suffered, it does go a long way towards relieving the financial burden that is experienced by many people following medical negligence, for example the costs of aids, equipment and day to day care.
I have experience across a wide variety of medical negligence claims, including:
I am dedicated to achieving the best results for my clients while also understanding that for most people bringing a medical negligence claim can be a daunting prospect. I am attuned to the needs of my clients and appreciate that for many people obtaining explanations as to what went wrong and why, or an apology and assurance that processes have changed, can be just as important as achieving compensation for their injuries.
I pride myself in my empathetic approach and being able to make clients feel comfortable to share sensitive information with me. I go out of my way to provide answers to any questions that my clients may have about the circumstances of their injury.
I have built up excellent working relationships with numerous medical experts and barristers so that my clients are assured of getting the best possible team working together for them.
I am always focussed on the needs of my clients and this includes home visits for those clients who have difficulty travelling.

Thank you so much for your support and for fighting my corner — I really appreciate everything you and your team have done to secure compensation for me.

I graduated from King’s College London in 2005 with a degree in Law. I thereafter completed the postgraduate Legal Practice Course at the College of Law, achieving a Distinction.
I qualified as a solicitor in 2011 and have specialised in medical negligence claims since then. I joined Tees Law in April 2020 as a Senior Associate solicitor.
Outside of work, I enjoy exploring the local countryside where I live, hiking, and travelling further afield. I live in Essex with my husband and our French bulldog Beau.
I have organised and participated in fundraising activities for the Tees’ Better Future Fund (which awards grants to local charities for projects focussed on learning, education, or health and wellbeing), including completing Hadrian’s Wall over 4 days in May 2023. Whenever I can, I also participate in fundraising events for local and national charities such as Ellenor, Alzheimer’s Society, MacMillan Cancer Support, Fairhaven Hospice and Walk the Walk (Uniting Against Breast Cancer).
I have completed First Aid training and am also a Mental Health First Aider.
In my spare time, I have also obtained Level 2 qualifications in Nutrition and Health and the Care and Management of Diabetes.
Client Testimonial: “I contacted Tees in 2020 after dissatisfaction with my NHS treatment plan, and Natalie provided clear, understandable advice while keeping me regularly updated throughout the lengthy process. Although it took nearly five years, I am happy with the financial outcome and appreciate Natalie’s support and communication.”
