I am a Chartered Financial Planner with over 20 years experience in giving advice to individuals as well as businesses. My focus is always on ensuring the right outcome for my client, and this can often be within areas they hadn’t previously considered.
My areas of specialism are around advising clients on their tax opportunities and the setting up and running of trusts as well as planning around their investment and retirement strategies, but I can help support clients with all areas of financial planning.
I believe there is a lot of benefit from working with businesses as this is often where the greatest value for clients can be found, but have always been drawn to the complexities of the more technical aspects of planning generally which can result in considerable savings and benefits for individuals also.
Having become a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society in 2014 I have pushed myself to maintain and enhance my knowledge and expertise in all areas related to financial planning as I believe that credibility and trust in your advisers is a key part of building a working relationship.
I have completed a STEP Professional Postgraduate Diploma in Private Wealth Advice and have been accepted as a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). STEP members are internationally recognised as experts in their fields.
I will often work closely with a number of other professionals when advising to ensure the right outcome for clients is achieved, and am happy to work as part of an advice team.

Entrusting the accumulated wealth of a lifetime’s endeavours is one of the most important decisions a person makes. Our experience with Tees allows us to feel confident that our money is in safe hands.

Outside of work, I act as a local champion for Essex Community Foundation, which allows me to discuss charitable gifting with clients and includes the promotion and support of worthy local good causes that need to be put into contact with local benefactors. I’m also a trustee for the Tom Bowdidge Youth Cancer Foundation.
I’m married with two daughters and a Labrador, and enjoy spending time with my family and walking in the North Essex countryside.
I play golf badly, although enjoy the social and outdoors nature of the sport, and have an interest in most sports.
I am always happy to discuss how I am able to help, and will be open if this is not something I am able to do.
