Tees continues to strengthen presence in Essex with expansion of its Saffron Walden office

Building on the recent redevelopment of its Chelmsford office base at Parkview House, law firm Tees has now announced a move to a significantly larger, modern facility at The Old Hospital on London Road in Saffron Walden. The newly refurbished office replaces Tees’ long-standing high-street location, providing improved accessibility, state-of-the-art facilities and increased capacity.

The move reflects sustained growth in demand for Tees’ legal and financial planning services across the region and reinforces the firm’s ongoing investment in Essex and the client experience.

From early March 2026, Tees’ expanded Saffron Walden office will provide a full-service offering for individuals, families and business owners. The move reinforces the firm’s long-term commitment to Essex and its confidence in the region’s economic future. It marks a key step in Tees’ strategic growth plan, positioning the firm to support an increasing number of businesses and individuals across the county as Essex continues to evolve and thrive.

Catherine Mowat, Senior Partner at Tees said, “We have enjoyed a long relationship within Saffron Walden, serving the local community with a range of services for client’s legal and financial planning needs. Our expansion in Saffron Walden reflects both the strength of the local market and our confidence in the region’s future.

As Essex moves into a new era of devolved leadership, we’re proud to be part of that journey, supporting local businesses, families and communities to make the most of the opportunities ahead.”

Ashton Hunt, CEO at Tees, added: “Our expansion is an investment in both our people and the communities we serve.

This move will strengthen our ability to deliver excellent client service by further improving efficiencies as well as deepening our connections within Essex’s growing business community.

Our teams are looking forward to welcoming clients to a modern office environment, designed around accessibility and comfort.”

This latest investment underscores Tees’ ongoing growth strategy across the East of England, combining strong regional roots with forward-looking ambition to meet the evolving needs of clients and communities.

The redevelopment of the new office is due for completion in March and will provide 2,151 sq. ft of modern office space, providing capacity for further growth. Initially around 20 colleagues will relocate from the old high street office.

In the meantime, it remains business as usual for clients, with no disruption to services. Clients should continue to contact the firm in the usual way.
