Biography
I am a Professional Support Lawyer in the Commercial Property Team. I provide specialist technical support and updates on legal developments to the department to help them deliver better on relevant client matters, and I assist in developing and managing the team’s precedents and know-how (taking responsibility for legal training too).
I qualified as a Commercial Property solicitor in 1998 and joined Tees Law in December 2025 after almost 30 years working in the Commercial Real Estate team at Linklaters (a Global Law Firm based in London). My many years at Linklaters have given me a deep understanding of the commercial property world and the law that underpins it. I trained at Linklaters, and then during 9 more years of fee-earning I acted for a wide range of real estate clients, including large corporations, institutional investors and developers, on both investment, leasing and development related work. Following my switch to a knowledge lawyer role in 2007, I have an even longer experience of PSL-ing – developing, curating and maintaining the know-how required to help a busy commercial property team, and I am well accustomed to managing knowledge within a large commercial firm environment. I am also a longstanding member of the Property Support Lawyers Group.

I studied Law at Trinity College, Cambridge (many years ago!), so I am delighted to return to this City to work, and I did my LPC at Guildford College of Law. I am a mum of 2 almost-grown-up “students”, and one recently graduated Engineer, and I have a very busy wider family life too. I have lived in Hertfordshire all of my married life, and am passionate about the outdoors (mountains, lakes and the sea), as well as choral music, reading and theatre.
