How can I help you?
I am an experienced medical negligence solicitor, helping clients achieve answers, secure financial compensation, and access the tools required to rebuild their lives following medical accidents. I am Team Leader of the Bishop’s Stortford medical negligence team.
Delivering what you need
I am dedicated to achieving the best possible results for clients. I understand that seeking legal advice and bringing a claim can be a daunting prospect and I am committed to understanding your aims and objectives. I am an empathetic listener and provide clear and pragmatic advice tailored to your needs.
I have built a network of leading experts and barristers to enable me to achieve the best possible outcome for you. I appreciate the impact medical accidents can have and will work with you to ensure you are fully supported throughout the process, e.g. by making home visits or scheduling meetings around work or childcare commitments.
At the conclusion of a case, I work with colleagues to provide access to financial advice, future planning services and case management services so that you can take steps to build a better future.
I have experience in a variety of medical negligence claims and my specialist areas include:
- Orthopaedic injuries and amputation;
- Delayed diagnosis of cancer, including sarcoma;
- Fatal claims;
- Maternal birth injury;
- Child birth injury and child brain injury.
What else should you know?
I joined Tees as a trainee in 2015 having graduated from Newcastle University, achieved a Graduate Diploma in Law at BPP in Cambridge, and completed the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in London. I qualified as a solicitor in September 2017 and have specialised in medical negligence since then.
I am passionate about obtaining justice for my clients and love what I do. I view every case as a chance to make a positive impact on people’s lives, to provide access to justice for those in vulnerable and difficult situations, and to raise awareness and bring about change within the healthcare system. I enjoy keeping up to date with scientific and medical news and find new approaches and treatments a fascinating area. I have written numerous articles and hosted Q&A sessions about medical negligence law.
I live in Essex with my partner and dog (a rescue Staffie called Rocky). I am a keen horse rider and share a horse locally. I enjoy skiing, attending festivals and gigs, and travelling around the world.
I fundraise for and support several local and national charities including Grove Cottage, the Isabel Hospice, Steel Bones and Macmillan Cancer Support. Through our Better Future Fund, I have taken part in numerous fundraising activities and I like to support the local community as much as possible.
