I’ve specialised in Private Client law in Chelmsford for the past 16 years, and throughout this time, I have seen the city and our client base change and grow. I have headed up the Private Client team in Chelmsford for over 12 years and have forged close relations throughout this time, enabling me to deliver a holistic and joined-up approach to clients' issues.
My workload includes advising on Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and succession planning. I am regularly approached to assist business owners and farming clients in planning for the future and ensuring the passing of assets between generations.
I regularly advise farming families on how to structure their business interests to ensure that their farming assets pass through the family as they want. Having such an expert team means I can talk with your professional advisers and ensure that any work is dealt with at the appropriate level in our firm.
I specialise in complex Probate matters and have been recognised in the Legal 500 as leading on several new complex farming probates.

I appreciate that it can be distressing when you come to see me and my team, and we wish to make matters as straightforward as possible for you.

What else should you know?
I am a committee member of the Essex branch of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). I have previously presented to care home managers, financial advisers and accountants on the different areas of my practice.
Outside of work I’m a keen fundraiser through my work with the local Round Table. I’m also a budding sportsman, a member of the local Law Society cricket team.
