I qualified as a solicitor in 1983 and have worked predominantly in the Chelmsford office, specialising in commercial property work. I tend to handle more complex and unusual transactions, where the sale or purchase will involve several parties requiring negotiations with two or three firms of solicitors, your accountant, banker, and surveyor. More recently, I have worked increasingly with insolvency practitioners on time-critical disposals.
Since 1995, I have been responsible for a portfolio of telecom contracts. The communications sector has experienced strong growth in recent years with increasingly complex contractual provisions, requiring close attention to detail and a careful review strategy carried out in conjunction with the client’s surveyor.
I act for several small development companies, typically building developments of up to 10 houses or apartments. I also have a number of clients active in the leisure sector, including pub owners, hoteliers, nightclub owners, and golf club owners. I also act for two local golf clubs owned by their members and a football club playing at the highest level of non-league football.

I provide a bespoke service to my clients so will spend time with you to make sure we deliver what you need.
