How can I help you?
I joined Tees in 2023 as a paralegal in the Dispute Resolution and Litigation department.
I predominantly support parents, families, and schools on matters relating to school and education, including the processes of obtaining and appealing an Education, Health, and Care Plan for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
Delivering what you really need
Every child has the right to reach their full potential and, along with the litigation department, I strive to support you, the client, and the Education Litigation team to ensure we achieve the desired outcome.
What else should you know?
I have a varied but extensive background; however, my passion has always been supporting families. I have first-hand experience of what it is like to have a child with Special Educational Needs and how it feels to be stuck with the EHCP process and forced to battle the LA; it was my own situation that led me to complete Levels 1-3 of IPSEA SEND Law and foray into the legal world.
Outside of work, I have not only won my own child’s appeal in Tribunal but also been involved in a successful TRA misconduct hearing.
I like to invest my free time into learning and educating myself, not only in law but across the board generally. I love reading, am a qualified yoga instructor, and enjoy spending time with my family.
