Parklands Nursing Home sold to Springfield Holdings Limited

Tees recently advised the shareholders of Canaryford Limited (‘Canaryford’) on the sale of their shares in the business to Springfield Holdings Limited (‘Springfield’).

Canaryford was founded by Bharat and Urvashi Patel over 30 years ago, since when the company has managed the 54-bed Parklands Nursing Home (‘Parklands’) located in South Benfleet. Parklands offers a full range of care and nursing services to its residents and has achieved an overwhelmingly positive rating of 9.5 rating on carehome.co.uk.

The sale of Canaryford to Springfield means that Parklands will continue to be run by an established residential care services provider and that residents will continue to receive high quality care. Through their acquisition of Canaryford, Springfield will continue to grow their existing portfolio whilst also establishing a presence in south Essex.

The business teams at Tees advised on both the corporate and property elements of the transaction.
