How can I help you?
Having trained at a firm in London, I qualified as a solicitor in 1994 and have worked in Cambridge and Bishop’s Stortford for most of the time since qualification and joined Tees in 2003.
I have a wide breadth of experience in commercial property transactions, acting for both corporate clients and also for individuals.
My workload includes acting for developers of residential and mixed use schemes, taking transactions through from first principles through to acquisition, build out and disposal. I also deal with planning and infrastructure documentation for such schemes as well as all aspects of disposals.
I am involved in a number of transactions for agricultural and other land owning clients including the purchase and sale of farms and farmland, renewable schemes and strategic option agreements.
I have a wide experience of landlord and tenant and general commercial property transactions, including corporate support and refinancing.
Delivering what you really need
I am head of the Property Department in the Cambridge office and can draw on the support of my colleagues both in the Team and also in other disciplines to ensure you get the help and advice your particular matter deserves. I and members of the team work very closely with colleagues in various other departments, including the Commercial, Employment, Residential Property and Wills Trust Tax and Probate teams, to ensure you seamlessly receive all the help you need in a co-ordinated way.
I am always happy to discuss any plans or projects on the telephone or in person, and will always be happy to go out to meet you or on site, as the circumstances may require.
I always aim to deliver a service with a commercial, common-sense approach and in a friendly and efficient way.
What else should you know?
I have a Diploma in Commercial Property practice and have written articles on a variety of property-related matters for publication.
I have also had experience of working for local authorities and am currently a Trustee Board Member of the East Herts Citizens Advice Service which gives me an insight into the needs of the public and charitable sectors.
