How can I help you?
I am a Solicitor in the Family Department at Tees, based in the Cambridge office. I have been working in Family law since 2020 and I qualified as a Solicitor in March 2023. I advise clients on a range of family matters, including private children law, divorce and finances and cases involving domestic violence.
Delivering what you really need
I understand that often family disputes can be a very challenging and emotional time. I recognise that clients are often experiencing unfamiliar and daunting circumstances and seeking help from a solicitor can be overwhelming. I strive to support clients through their experiences and the legal process by providing an empathetic yet pragmatic approach with clear and concise advice throughout.
I seek to resolve disputes constructively and practically by considering alternative methods of dispute resolution where possible and appropriate. I aim to handle matters in a cost effective and time efficient manner, keeping my clients involved and informed throughout.
I work collaboratively with colleagues, both within the family team and other departments within Tees, to provide clients with a seamless service.
What else should you know?
I am a member of Resolution, an organisation which promotes a non-confrontational approach to family law issues. I am a Mediation Champion which means that I am committed to helping people use mediation as a way to reduce conflict during separation, often advising clients throughout this process. I am a volunteer with both the Cambridge Acorn Project and the Anglia Ruskin University Law Clinic.
I studied Law at the University of Southampton, graduating in 2018 with a First-Class Honours Degree (LLB). I went on to complete my Legal Practice Course (LPC) together with a Masters in Professional Legal Practice (LLM) at the University of Law in Guildford, obtaining a high Distinction. I worked as a Paralegal in family law at a high street law firm before commencing my training contract. During my training contract, I spent an extended period in family law as well as gaining experience in private client and conveyancing.
In my spare time, I enjoy going for dog walks and cooking. I am an avid football fan and will often travel up and down the country to watch matches on a weekend.
